The key for me is to pinch the site hard enough and getting the tip so the point is on top. I barely feel it.

****...i gave been diabetic for over 40 years. i hate hate hate did i mention hate taking needles. for me it us the unknown...will it hurt going in or coming out or when you push the insulin in....was never the same for me. i have the pump now for one year. it is great only taking one shot every 3 days comoared to 4 or 5 shots a day. Really hope you read these msgs.
