The pumps are great but not the Enlite sensor. I had so many issues with it and had to stop.

Oh no! I do not have benefits to cover the sensors so maybe they will improve when I decide to try them. How come you had problems with them?

Medtronic's next generation is going to rival any other in the market when it releases.

Nice I am excited! I am covered by the insulin pump therapy, I get to renew my pump they said in four years. With the new one coming out, will that be sent to us right away? Or do I still have to wait the four years?

If the government is covering your pump costs, you might be informed when that time happens. I don't know the system in Alberta compared to Ontario. Medtronic's next generation CGM will, apparently, blow the competition out of the water in every way. If you can get the CGM covered, it's well worth using it as much as possible. Good luck and all the best success with everything.

15 years of the needles on my stomach has taken it's toll....when I out on a needle...my stomacg. burns and stings....si I'm taking a break and back on the shots and doing well actually congrats on the pump... if they told your you can eat anything as long as you bolus...that's not. true. the bread carbs are really bad for T1Ds. wished I had known that years ago. eating mostly veggie s, bison ( all grass fed) and lots of protein. Hope you have great success..
