where people touched by diabetes help each other.
I've had great days and really bad days.I'm tired of the ups and downs. It would be nice to just have great days filled with smiles and energy. Never want to give up but being diabetic is just not fun
Hi there, I know how u feel. Can I ask are the downs due to erratic sugar levels if so I recommend a pump for much tighter control and I've heard endless energy from being in control of sugars
I prey for energy but half my jabs are correctional doses and high sugars make me lethargic and stuck to the seat with lack of energy
It can be better I know it's a nightmare so many things put sugars up so many things bring it down and it's a constant juggle to keep it in the middle I find it impossible and my sugars bounce.
You're not alone and don't have to suffer in silence
Thank you**** I'm going to talk about the pump today. Crossing fingers
****I had a lot of up and down sugars and never had the energy. I've been on the pump for about two months. I'm starting to get my life back. Good luck!

Looking for a "pay it forward" place. Switching pumps soon and will have a year's worth of unused supplies. Don't want to throw them away...
Ok, I admit it. I'm a diabetic noob. Am I also in denial that I have yet to resign myself to sticking myself regularly for testing? Hell, I hate it when others stick me! Must I now do it myself??!!
This one's kinda for the ladies, but I don't know maybe guy diabetics have this problem too? Do y'all experience frequent bladder and yeast infections? If so have you found anything that helps? Thanks
I just started using Afrezza (inhaled insulin). Still not sure how well it is working. Has anyone else been using it? Good or bad experiences?
For those that take insulin with your meals, how do you go about taking it when you're out at a restaurant or other social gatherings? Do you take it out in front of everyone or do you try to find a secluded spot to take it? How does it make you feel when you take it, knowing people are curious?
I'm 19 and I have had type 1 diabetes since I was 13... Everyday I wake up I feel sick to my stomach like I'm going to throw up does anyone have any suggestions?
In the endos office, and the resident just told me my symptoms are because of my "poorly controlled" diabetes. Lol She then went quiet when endo came in and we discussed my regime, adj & fine tuning
Anyone reading this message please reply to me a simple hi or even blank content. I want to know who is getting my asks.
Has anyone else noticed that your blood sugar goes up while you are sleeping. I will often go to sleep with my blood sugar in the 80s and wake up in the high 100s to low 200s
Does anybody know why it's so difficult to lose weight being a type 1 diabetic? Something to do with insulin? And how can you make it easier to lose weight?
