Does anybody know why it's so difficult to lose weight being a type 1 diabetic? Something to do with insulin? And how can you make it easier to lose weight?
It seems to me that there are support communities and organizations for kids with T1 diabetes, college kids with T1 D, and their parents. Do adults with T1 D not need support?
So, does anyone have a favorite app or website that they use for their diabetes? I'm always looking for useful tools to help me manage, and any suggestions would be welcome!
I'm considering an insulin pump Bc I've heard they are getting to be a lot easier to use. Does anyone have any recommendations? Has anyone tried the Snap?
Anyone have a new Medtronic insulin pump 723 they'd be interested in selling? Insurance won't pay until next year and we really need one before then.
Hi guys, I'm in desperate need of... a Medtronic pump I can US for the weekend, child's stopped working thought it was getting shipped out and was suppose to be her today but now not until Monday
Hey guys! How often do you go to the pharmacy or receive a mail order with supplies? Thank you!
Hello all again I am also looking to get an omnipod for my son but our insurance will not cover a pump for him since we have the same insurance.....
I started Juicing in Feb. 2013 and in Sept. was told I was no longer diabetic. So I asked the Dr. Was he sure and he said Yes. So I was confused and shocked, so I asked him do I need to continue testing and his response was No you don't need to test at all. Months later & I'm confused. Not sure.
How does everyone keep track of their supplies / prescriptions / doctors phone numbers etc?
