What should I do if I were to ever forget my insulin at home and I had no way to get it? #Type1 #CollegeStudent #NewDiabetic

Well hopefully****will help with that. You could see if anyone local has some spare insulin. I would carry a prescription or a copy of it so that you could find a pharmacy close by and get some more. Alternatively keep a stash somewhere. Maybe your professors have a fridge that you could keep it in.

Hi latasha! The easy answer is to go on an insulin pump so it's always on you. Have you looked into that?

Your pharmacy can call one nearby you to transfer the prescription.

You can ask your doctor for a pen sample! Those don't have to stay refrigerated and you can keep them in your bag in case of an emergency!
