where people touched by diabetes help each other.

In the endos office, and the resident just told me my symptoms are because of my "poorly controlled" diabetes. Lol She then went quiet when endo came in and we discussed my regime, adj & fine tuning

They list all diabetes as 'uncontrolled' when your a1c is over a certain number. It is completely unfair. And some people just don't know when to shut their mouths.

Yea, that "uncontrolled" part always baffles me - at my last dr appt, my A1C went down to 6.3. Dr said that was great & yet still it's considered uncontrolledčĄö

My favorite is when being on insulin means being uncontrolled. So dead is better???

Thanks for venting here. It does help to hear what others are experiencing. I'm glad we can laugh together.

do you think it's just a clinical term. so you still need treatment. controlled would be someone who is not diabetic.

What "symptoms" was she referring to?

I think it's the term they use when they have no better answer to why their prescribed regimen is not doing the trick
