First endo appointment since being diagnosed at hospital. What do I expect?

Then to check you out. Weight and stuff. To check your A1C. I am sure u know what that is. And then they talk about your ratios/bolus rates and help you figure out the best way to keep your numbers in target for a better A1C.

Just be open to the possiblities. My Endo told me to act like a pancreas. I have a question for you though please PM me I just noticed you are a type 1. Adult onset type 1 is rare and sometimes called Type 1.5 vice T1 or T2. I am a T1.5 which is hard for some doctors to understand our needs as they differ from T1 or T2. Ultimately Diabetes is a self managed disease. The more you educate yourself on Diabetes you better understand what your body is capable of as far as blood sugar control.
