where people touched by diabetes help each other.

What can I do to get my a1c down besides eating right and drink the right stuff. One of my husband's friends told me to do honey and cinnamon a teaspoon a day but honey is not good for us right? any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Are you T1 or T2? Frequent testing throughout the day can help you understand how your body responds to carbs and exercise. Take a long walk everyday. Learn to correctly count carbs (Calorie King is a great help). Honey is pure sugar, but cinnamon is fine to sprinkle on. There is no magic fix. Just stick with it everday. It's a fulltime job!!! :-)

Exercise 30 minutes a day at least 3 times a week. Work up to 5 times a day. Cut out the fries. Learn to count your carbs
