where people touched by diabetes help each other.

I only eat about 60 carbs per day and still high BG. Do I just quit eating, all food seems toxic. Last night sautéed cabbage and turkey sausage sky rocketed. Still extremely high in morning.

Our bodies need in excess of 150 g of carbs per day if not it causes damage to the central nervous system. Possibly the reason why diabetics suffer from neuropathy. ?????

I just read this about the carbs our bodies need. Dropping below 150 also affects the brain. Maybe explains the new link with Alzheimer's.

I've read if the body is starved of carbohydrates it will start to turn proteins into glucose for energy, thus high sugars.? Just a thought
