Type 1 diabetes: Dose anyone not check there blood suger for a whole day?
Dose anyone not check there blood suger for a whole day? I do sometimes, it's not because I'm lazy I'm just over it.
I would go months without checking it because I didn't want to or I didn't wanna see bad numbers now I check 8-10 times a day with my pump. My a1c was a 15 and now a 12.4 : / correcting damage now : /

Hi there. Looking for a mentor/friend for my 12 yr old. Diagnosed 2 yrs ago with type one diabetes and has lost confidence and could use some warm coaching or sop port. Dan be a tween or teen via phone and skype. Thank you
I started Juicing in Feb. 2013 and in Sept. was told I was no longer diabetic. So I asked the Dr. Was he sure and he said Yes. So I was confused and shocked, so I asked him do I need to continue testing and his response was No you don't need to test at all. Months later & I'm confused. Not sure.
It seems to me that there are support communities and organizations for kids with T1 diabetes, college kids with T1 D, and their parents. Do adults with T1 D not need support?
Are we allowed to ask or offer pump supplies on here?
Last Sunday, in the brutal heat, we were at my son's baseball game. I overheard another mother of a T1D mention heat effects her son more than a non-T1D kid. Anyone with this experience?
