What insulin do the type 1s out there use? I've always used novolog (used to use levemir and novolog before pumping), but curious what others use and why? What's the fastest acting insulin out there?
I am w/o humalog right now. I need to know where I can get emergency insulin or if anyone can help out.
Any of you have used the dexcom or freestyle flash? which problems did you find? thank you

Ok, I admit it. I'm a diabetic noob. Am I also in denial that I have yet to resign myself to sticking myself regularly for testing? Hell, I hate it when others stick me! Must I now do it myself??!!
Anyone have a new Medtronic insulin pump 723 they'd be interested in selling? Insurance won't pay until next year and we really need one before then.
Upgraded to the Dexcom G5 I have my Dexcom G4 W/ Share Transmitter (only) available for someone. Started using it late Aug so there is good amount of life left in it. Looking for $100 plus shipping.
Feel like the worst m in the world right now! Let my husband take the kids to dinner and a movie, gave my 7 yr old her insulin... 3 hrs later it was at 'high' rechecked and it was at 541! Feel like crap! Didn't calculate her carbs that well! :(
