where people touched by diabetes help each other.

Just discovered this app, and I think it's awesome! I have a question to those of you on the animas vibe and the Tslim pumps... Pros and cons?? I am currently on the animas ping.

My daughter just started using Tslim about a month ago and absolutely loves it.

I like the t-slim. it now integrates with Dexcom, but I have the earlier model. you can put a temp basal rate in to last four days and you can program in different profiles for basal rates and ratios. there is a connector for the tubing just outside the pump that can be irritating and their clips aren't the best. I think they're working on improving those things. one thing that bothers me is that the representative told me if be able to trade in for the model with the CGM when it came out. then when it did, they wouldn't let me. it's similar to something Medtronic did, so basically I think you just can't trust representatives on these things. if something like that matters, get it in writing.

Thanks for the info! I've had two animas ping and I've gone through several clips. I like my animas but it appears that the Tslim is the one that everyone is migrating to, and I don't know much about it. So I'm doing some research and just wanted some honest feedback. And that would be very frustrating, in the past I've had issues like that with Medtronic and their representatives.
