Just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Moved away from my doctor before I could get advice about how much insulin I would need. Nd my insurance has expired. Does anyone have any advice.

Go back to the a doctor. Insurance or not. You shouldn't be figuring out your own dosages.

I agree, go and see your Dr. Type 2 is generally controlled by diet and/or tablets

Definitely see dr. If you've been put on insulin you need to be using it

I have 2 myself and I can tell you it's no joke, Oshcner clinic is down there. They have Dr.s there. Get on Medicaid if you only have low income. They will take it.

Most places have 4.00 on prescriptions.. Go online and research .. My hubby had to & so did I .. They will give you a med that equal to it..

Find another endocrinologist they can get you free samples of insulin, if you need it.
