Has anyone been diagnosed with gastroparesis. If so can we talk? I think i might have it but my GI does mot want to check for it.

I don't have that but I hear about that, and maybe you need to talk to your diabetes doctor, but is good for people with that problem, drink glucerna, is very good, I drink one every day, ..!!!

I have gastroparesis. It is really a diagnosis of exclusion. The docs rule out everything else, shrug, and say there is nothing they can do.

I suspect that like other complications, it worsens temporarily then improves with improved control. : /

I keep Lomotil and phone than on hand for symptoms (nausea and vomiting) prescription meds

"Phone" should be phenergan. Lomotil is for diarrhea. You may be able to identify aggravating foods and avoid them. Good luck.

Mine has been getting worse with no improvment. They scoped me and said everything looked fine. They have no idea to what it could be.

That is what happened with me. But mine did improve for a while. I am working to improve my control right now so of course my symptoms have worsened again. I hope with time it improves again.

It does impact my bgs though. Do you find that true as well? I am able to respond better and faster using Nightscout. Do you have a pump and/or CGM?
