I no I have been a diabetic for so long and it's hard being the only one in my family with it and being a twin she don't have it ether but when I was pregnant my sugars have been reallly good and controlled and now back to work and stressing out I have been i have been on dka 3 times since this year so far not caring for myself so it's like I no I need to get back into everything and start taking care of myself o have been looking into trying to get a diabetic dog bc my sugars do drop in the morning and with the boyfriend leaving at 3 in the for work it's kinda freaks me out that it's gonna happen now that I'm hear alone with my daughter so does anyone no how or what u all have to do to try to get a diabetic dog?

They r a lot more expensive than a dexcom system. Just google diabetic alert dog and a bunch of places show up

Just get a CGM like a dexcom G4 or G5

I agree with the comments on the Dexcom. It's better than the dog. The dogs are a full time job and not 100%. Nothing is, but the Dexcom you can now correct off the numbers without testing. I will private message you the name and email of a person that knows a lot about the dogs. Good luck****
