I'm new in the app!
Living with type 1 diabetes since 2000.
I'm 33, T1D since ####, currently using Medtronic 530g. My work schedule does not let me establish a normal routine. I want an openAPS compatible pump, and will trade my full 530g setup. Thx!

Has any Type 1 diabetic used Afrezza? Is it better? Major difference?
Anyone have suggestions for where to place a Dexcom cgm sensor? I would normally use my abdomen, but because of pump sites, it's pretty beat up there. Has anyone tried the back of the arm? The idea freaks me out but I may try it.
I cannot afford my insulin anymore. I have Lantus pens to trade for Novolog or Humalog vials/pens. Any help is appreciated!
I'm going to get my first pump ever and I need to fill out papers for the one I want tomorrow. which is better from anyone's experience with the pumps and which did you like best and why ? :D thx.

How does everyone keep track of their supplies / prescriptions / doctors phone numbers etc?
My son Brad was asked to speak last night at a JDRF walkathon fund raising evening about his experience with AFREZZA the new Inhaled Insulin. People were VERY excited. Over 100 attendees. He is 26&T1
I have been been getting really low blood sugar (around the 50s) ever since I came back to college a week and a half ago. I'm usually in class when it starts to happen or really far away from my dorm. Also I eat a healthy well balanced breakfast and lunch. The only thing is that I have to walk a lot since it is a really big campus. It is really scaring me. Does anyone have any opinions on what can help me?
My son was recently diagnosed (2 weeks ago) with T1D... He is 11 and is currently the only child in his K-8 elementary school... Any words of wisdom for a new dad with a son with T1D? Other than, just treat him like you would if he didn't have T1D...
