Ask your Doctor if they have anything
**** most of the companies have a patient assistance program, you have to qualify but each company has slightly different rules.

I just started using Afrezza (inhaled insulin). Still not sure how well it is working. Has anyone else been using it? Good or bad experiences?
I have been been getting really low blood sugar (around the 50s) ever since I came back to college a week and a half ago. I'm usually in class when it starts to happen or really far away from my dorm. Also I eat a healthy well balanced breakfast and lunch. The only thing is that I have to walk a lot since it is a really big campus. It is really scaring me. Does anyone have any opinions on what can help me?
Today my daughter got her first A1C check since being diagnosed in December... It was 14.5 on the 19th of dec, and today it was 8!!!! I'm very happy about this!
Since Dr. Oz covered diabetes today this is again under my skin. Type 1 & Type 2 are not the same! Are there any other type 1 diabetics annoyed with how diabetes is classified or am I being to particular?
I have 3 boxes of dexcom sensors and 4 boxes of omni pods for sale due to switching products ... if interested please email email@example.com
My husbands birthday is coming up and we are going for dinner then he and our friends may venture elsewhere. My question is if you go out how do you explain the diabetes kit? Do bouncers even care? (Needles, lancets etc)
I started Juicing in Feb. 2013 and in Sept. was told I was no longer diabetic. So I asked the Dr. Was he sure and he said Yes. So I was confused and shocked, so I asked him do I need to continue testing and his response was No you don't need to test at all. Months later & I'm confused. Not sure.
What do you think about medtronic's pumps!?
Anyone have suggestions for where to place a Dexcom cgm sensor? I would normally use my abdomen, but because of pump sites, it's pretty beat up there. Has anyone tried the back of the arm? The idea freaks me out but I may try it.
Looking for a "pay it forward" place. Switching pumps soon and will have a year's worth of unused supplies. Don't want to throw them away...
