This might not be what you are looking for but i think the greatest help i've had was when my endo asked if i was interested in an insulin pump. It has changed me for the better ever since!

On May 18th #### my boyfriend came over for the weekend. When he got to my house all seemed good. I had to go to work at 9.45pm all seemed fine. I messaged Ash about 1 am and things seemed fine.

I decided to go home early so that I could spend a little more time with Ash. 15 minutes after I got home I jumped into bed and I noticed that Ash was running a horrible temperature.

15 minutes later he started having what seemed like an epileptic fit. He fitted about 3 times and it was at this point I knew something was wrong.

Although I didn't check his bsl straight away when I did it was very low. It was about 3.6. By 8.30am I rang the dr on call and they said it could be a few hours before the dr got to my house.

Within 15 minutes Ash got worse so I rang Royal Perth Hospital and they put me through to the ambulance and they were here within 2-4 minutes. They spent 2-2.5 hours stabilising his bsl.

Every time the ambo's would do anything to Ash I would be in the room watching what they did and how they did it.
