I have had a bad week with my diabetes it got up to over 550 when will I stop filling so yucky and start back feeling normal.
I am struggling keeping my blood sugars down right now. Just caught some stomach bug and my sugar has jumped from 63 to 492. I feel miserable!

Asked my dr for a tester n was told was not bad enough to have one Don't get no help from my gp feel so on my own
He just flat out said no? When you're taking initiative for your health! I'm sorry to heart that.

Just a quick question to the type 1 diabetics. How long after a hypo does it take a person to get back to normal. My boyfriend had one 2 weeks ago and I think I'm pushing him a little.
Last Sunday, in the brutal heat, we were at my son's baseball game. I overheard another mother of a T1D mention heat effects her son more than a non-T1D kid. Anyone with this experience?

It seems to me that there are support communities and organizations for kids with T1 diabetes, college kids with T1 D, and their parents. Do adults with T1 D not need support?
