Ok really want to have Baby Number3,but my HbA1c is 12.2? I'm carb counting but really need to motivate myself to get this HbA1c down any tips

Go back to your Endo/educator. They need to adjust your levels. With that A1c you may end up MC'ing or have a bub with issues (I've had 5 MC and 2 children. My a1c with my youngest was high.

Try eating more foods that don't have carbs and snacks like cheese&crackers and cheese sticks and carrots and things! Hope that helps!

See if you can get a CGM, it really helps you find trouble areas and you can hopefully lower your a1c more easily

Yeah****I'm currently eating an almost carb free diet! Yeah might ask about a CGM coz testing is my biggest problem area! When I do regular testing I'm flying! So next gynaecology appt is 28/july

Another tip to lower your a1c is to is to take insulin 20 minutes before you eat. This helps to avoid spikes. Also Dr. Ponder has a great page on Facebook called The Power Within. He is a Type 1 himself and is also an endocrinologist.
