Those in Australia on pumps. Did you get to choose the pump or do your Endo have a particular one?

Hi**** we got to choose, my kids went to a meeting at the hospital and all the pump reps were there telling them about the pumps they had, it was great, but still a hard decision to make.

Thanks**** I have in my head already the one I want. I'm looking at the Dana R so I can hook it up to my phone :)

I haven't heard of that one, I will check it out as two of my boys are ready for an upgrade. Thanks and good luck with pumping :-)

I've lived in Sydney off and on for the past year. Have other type 1s found random strangers in Sydney are super rude about your insulin pump? I use the omni pod, usually wear it on my arm, and everywhere I go in Sydney people stare, and often glare or scowl at me. They will move over a seat on the train or at restaurants. And people in shops have out right gasped and then said something along the lines of "what is THAT?" With a disgusted face.
