Does any one know if allergy shot will help with my daughter's tree nut allergy?

I would interview a few Allergists and get their opinion. Even ask your daughter's Pediatrician. I am allergic to some nuts- hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts. I've only went thru a series of shots for airborne allergies: trees, grasses, ragweed, etc. I read labels and ask questions all the time on foods...

It might help. I started doing allergy shots for a number of things a while back but it didn't help much. But you need to be cautious of the side effects. I went into anaphylactic shock after a shot and nearly died. So those side effects are VERY real and can happen. Just wanted to give you a heads up!

Allergy shots are steroids and an asthmatics last resort during a severe asthma attack. I can't take allergy shots so I have one last option. So, don't use allergy shots for peanut allergies. Avoidance
