Anyone have any advice for weight loss on insulin? I was normal weight and active when diagnosed 2 years ago, but have gained a fairly significant about of weight since going on insulin 20+ months ago. Very low carb diet makes me feel sick, so I stick to 80-110g carbs a day, but no luck.

If your on lantus one of the side effects is weight gain. I'm type 1, was on that for years & put on 30lbs when I was. Exercise & the pump & I lost the weight in 6mos without out much diet chanfe

Going low carb will make you sick, if you're not used to it. Your body is used to a higher carb intake. On same token high carb isn't good either. So do it gradually,

I have been eating in a fairly healthy way for some time note. I'd lost weight eating this way before diagnosis, but since being on insulin, I've gained even while eating less, hence the frustration.

Lol, know what you mean. I've tried weight watchers, brother & sister in law ( he's T2 too) did that and they lost weight - not me :(
