where people touched by diabetes help each other.

Hi everyone, any advice on keeping your BS stable? The last three or four Daymeon's I've been having low BS like bad. It will be high then all of a sudden I drop. I've dropped at least two times back to back each day and I feel like crap. I'm taking my medicine like I should and eating correctly, so I don't know what the deal is. :-(

Have you been losing weight? Eating less carbs? Or eating more protein? What does wonders is Dexcom which is a CGM (continuous Glucose Monitor.) What insurance do you have?

I've lost like 30 pounds since September. I have a CGM with Dexcom.

Then your meds need to be adjusted according to your weight. Call up your endo or primary care (regular doctor) to get those adjusted!

They've been adjusted. That's why it's confusing why I'm dropping so many times.

Needs to be adjusted again. It's all trial and error! Just call up and they'll adjusted it even further.

I mean I've been taking it the same way for over a year now with no issues. I'm going Monday to see her.

Good! Write down when you're going low... so if a trend is witnessed she knows where to lower your intake.
