I have been been getting really low blood sugar (around the 50s) ever since I came back to college a week and a half ago. I'm usually in class when it starts to happen or really far away from my dorm. Also I eat a healthy well balanced breakfast and lunch. The only thing is that I have to walk a lot since it is a really big campus. It is really scaring me. Does anyone have any opinions on what can help me?
My insurance won't cover two expensive purchases within a certain amount of time. I want a CGM but need a pump. Do any pumps have CGM's in them or am I just wishing too hard?
Last Sunday, in the brutal heat, we were at my son's baseball game. I overheard another mother of a T1D mention heat effects her son more than a non-T1D kid. Anyone with this experience?

Hi does anyone have dexcom G4 sensors or a transmitter. Mine is about to die. And I'm like 2 months from getting my new insurance. If you could help out, I will before we grateful!! :)
For those that take insulin with your meals, how do you go about taking it when you're out at a restaurant or other social gatherings? Do you take it out in front of everyone or do you try to find a secluded spot to take it? How does it make you feel when you take it, knowing people are curious?
just curious what other people keep in their cars for possible reactions. I tried glucose tabs but they go bad in summer heat. Now I use fruit wraps.
Looking for a "pay it forward" place. Switching pumps soon and will have a year's worth of unused supplies. Don't want to throw them away...
